Excitment

She floated gently through the air, majestically carried by the giant fish her father had given her for her birthday. She immediately fallen in love with his knobby, iridescent, scales and vivid spider-like eyes. She kept her balance on the smooth sailing fish with her legs tucked regally on either side of her, clinging gently to the his back. The fish had curled his lantern over his head, holding the blue globe in silver scales above her to softly light her way so she would not become frightened by the swirly masses of green and grey clouds they soared through.

Excitement made her skin glow a silky green as she felt the brush of air from the fish's fin sweep through the currents, sending playful breezes swirling behind them as they made their way. Her tail was held aloft, a curl of joy betraying her pleasure as she sat with the poise of a princess.

They sailed through the stormy clouds, unnoticed by all. A journey into the sweet wisps of infinity, one whose very being thrummed with anticipation, the other a gentle creature pleased to be with his little mistress. Together they flowed on, forever floating through the skies.
